Tallulah

Today marks the first spring release on the Tallulah Gorge in Georgia. I could not be there as I had to work and with the outside air temperature hovering at 35, I did not have much motivation to get wet. Do not get me wrong, if you have not paddled the Tallulah it is worth every one of the 400+ steps down to the put in. With rapids like Oceana (pictured above), Gauntlet and Amphitheater, the Tallulah is a memorable challenge every time. I wanted to thank AW for there past work in securing these and future releases, every paddler needs to support AW at some point during their paddling career.
